Ever considered becoming involved in local theatre?

Why not think about joining Players Theatre. There’s so much more to staging a production than appearing on stage and it doesn’t matter if you haven’t much or any experience of local theatre. There’s always someone on hand to help and it’s a constant learning curve! You may prefer to work backstage or ‘out front’ meeting and greeting people. There are teas and coffees to serve and working behind the bar. Or maybe you would enjoy building and decorating sets, or are interested in sound and lighting. It may be that you have administrative or marketing skills, or you may enjoy sewing and preparing costumes. The areas of theatre that you could become involved in are many and diverse. Maybe you have some good ideas for our social calendar and would enjoy arranging the events. We have a varied social calendar for both members and non-members to attend. Events quite often involve catering, so it could be that you would like to put your culinary skills to good use in the kitchen.
